Love Songs of the First Nation
The Carolina Master Chorale presents "Love Songs of the First Nation," celebrating the vast, wide-ranging, and largely unknown contributions of indigenous musicians to the choral music treasury of our shared homeland. The CMC will present songs from composers of numerous North American tribes, including the Lakota, Creek, Choctaw, Muskoke, Stockbridge Munsee, Chickasaw, Cherokee, and Anishinaabe tribes. All will be moved by an intimate view into the artistic legacy of our land’s first pioneers.
