Our Journey Home

Our Journey Home is a powerful and uplifting choral experience that traces the journey of what “home” truly means—and how that meaning changes throughout our lives. From the physical place of shelter through seasons of longing and wandering and ultimately toward connection, community, and something greater than ourselves, we learn that home means many things to each of us. Featuring beloved folk and popular tunes like “Our House,” “Crowded Table,” “Leaving on a Jet Plane,” and “Homeward Bound,” Broadway favorites including “Consider Yourself” and “Bring Him Home,” contemporary works by Kyle Pederson and Kim André Arnesen, and powerful spiritual songs such as “Unclouded Day,” this concert of heartfelt music reminds us that home is more than a house or a hometown—it is a feeling of belonging we carry with us—and, ultimately, the place we journey to find in ourselves. The concert concludes with a surround-sound experience for “Will the Circle Be Unbroken”–a moment of shared humanity you won’t soon forget. Featuring the Carolina Master Chorale and the Carolina Youth Chorale, this concert is more than a performance – it is an invitation:
